A Little About Us
At Orient Class, our work is guided by deep knowledge, passion, and respect for the art of oriental carpet weaving. We at Orient Class have studied the history and development of the Persian carpet industry, as well as the wider oriental rug tradition, including its craftsmanship, regional techniques, and cultural heritage across centuries.
This expertise allows us to identify truly exceptional pieces. Some of the carpets in our collection are rare masterworks that seldom appear on the market. When such pieces become available, we ensure they are offered at fair and honest prices, especially when compared to today’s international market for similar rugs.
Our collection is carefully curated and includes museum quality carpets, private collections, bespoke commissions, and selected antique and contemporary pieces. Each rug is chosen for its authenticity, craftsmanship, materials, and artistic value. These are carpets that carry history, pieces that evoke memories, emotions, and a sense of timeless beauty.
We believe trust is built through transparency and care. Many of our rugs are sourced from private collectors and are not new. Some may show gentle signs of age, which is part of their character and story. Certain carpets in our collection exceed 200 years of age, and the condition of each rug is clearly described so you know exactly what you are investing in.
